What size do I need for a one-bedroom flat?
5 m² holds the contents of a typical one-bedroom flat: sofa, bed, wardrobe, washing machine and around fifteen boxes. For two to three rooms choose 8 m², and for a whole house 10 m² or more.
Can I store things for just a few weeks between moves?
Yes. The flexible plan has no minimum term and the first 4 weeks are free, so a short gap between two tenancies costs nothing if you move out within the month.

How much storage space does a road bike need?
A road bike standing upright occupies about 0.6 m². With a turbo trainer, two wheelsets and a kit bag you reach roughly 2.4 m², which fits a 3 m² unit. Taking the wheels off brings it down to about 2 m².
Is it safe to store a bike over winter?
Yes. Units are dry and unheated, which suits bikes well. Drop the tyres to about 2 bar so they do not deform, lightly oil the chain against corrosion, and hang the bike by its frame rather than a wheel.
E-commerce
Can I pick and ship orders from my unit?
Yes. Access is 24/7 via the app, trolleys and pallet trucks are on site, and your unit can receive and send parcels as a pick-up point, so you can run fulfilment without a warehouse contract.
What happens when I outgrow the unit?
Move to a larger one at the same site. The flexible plan has no minimum term, so you change size from one month to the next and only pay the difference.
Business & archives
How much space do ten years of records take?
German retention rules keep most commercial records for up to ten years. For a small company that is roughly 60 archive boxes, about 5 m² stacked. An 8 m² unit leaves an aisle so you can reach the older years.
Do you invoice businesses with VAT?
Yes. Prices are quoted net plus 19% VAT and invoiced to your company. You enter your VAT ID at checkout and the invoice is available in the app each month.
